A.Y 2024-2025:
1. Guest lecture on ‘Training as a Business Partner’
The APRC conducted a guest lecture on 3rd August 2024 to enhance student understanding of business partnering in Training & Development. The session, mapped to PO1 and the T&D course, was led by Ms. Priya Mhambrey, who emphasized employee performance, satisfaction, retention, and related challenges. The session was interactive, with active student participation. A total of 60 students attended, and feedback indicated improved understanding of the concept.
2. Induction Program 24-25 Batch 24-26
The APRC conducted the induction program on 31st August and 2nd September 2024 to welcome students and familiarize them with the Institute and MMS program framework. The event began with an invocation and felicitation of dignitaries, including Chief Guest Dr. Srinivasan Iyengar, Guest of Honor Dr. Suhas Rao, Hon. Trustee Ms. Ashvini Jadhav, and Prof. Dr. Dinesh Gabhane. They addressed students on topics such as professionalism, industry expectations, and leadership. Faculty members introduced student-centric committees and encouraged active participation. A total of 99 students attended, showing enthusiasm and curiosity. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
3. Guest lecture on ‘Essential Guide to writing an OJT Report’
The APRC conducted a session on 22nd February 2025, led by Ms. Shraddha Maradi, focusing on the structure and importance of an OJT report. She covered key components such as the title page, objectives, company profile, work summaries, learning outcomes, challenges, and recommendations. The session emphasized clarity, coherence, and professionalism in writing, along with common mistakes to avoid. Students also participated in practical exercises by reviewing sample reports. A total of 51 students attended. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
4. Group Discussion Competition 24-25
The APRC conducted a debate competition on 4th March 2025 to promote critical thinking and communication skills. The event consisted of three rounds covering academic and contemporary topics. Students demonstrated analytical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork. Judges assessed participants on clarity, reasoning, confidence, and communication. A total of 23 students participated. A feedback session highlighted students’ appreciation for the platform to enhance their debating and leadership skills. Winners were announced, and all participants received certificates. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
5. Expert lecture on ‘AI in Banking’
The APRC conducted a session on 6th March 2025, led by Mr. Bhushan Kadam, focusing on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the banking sector and its relevance to corporate finance. He covered AI applications across industries, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, RPA, predictive analytics, blockchain, and cybersecurity. A total of 95 students attended. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
6. Debate Competition 24-25
The APRC conducted a debate competition on 12th March 2025 to promote collaborative experiential learning, mapped to PO2. Dr. Puja Kaushik and Mr. Annie Rupla served as judges, following a structured SOP with rubrics for all three rounds. Out of 20 registrations, 18 students participated. Winners and runner-up were awarded certificates and trophies during the prize distribution ceremony. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
7. Case study Presentation competition
The APRC conducted a case study writing & presentation competition on 25th March 2025 to encourage collaborative experiential learning, mapped to PO2 and PO4. Dr. Deepika Jindoliya and Ms. Divya Mahadule judged the event, where 18 students registered, and 52 participated as the audience. Students presented and discussed current scenario-based cases. Judges followed a structured SOP and rubrics for fair assessment. Winners and runner-up were awarded certificates and trophies. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
8. Guest lecture on ‘Strategy & Decision Making’
The APRC conducted a guest lecture on 26th March 2025 to enhance students’ understanding of business strategies and decision-making, mapped to PO2. Mr. Sachin Rane, a veteran commander, led the session, encouraging student interaction and emphasizing attitude, common sense, and self-awareness. 62 students attended, gaining valuable insights into business strategies. Feedback was collected and analyzed.
9. Expert lecture on ‘Project management’
The APRC conducted the activity on 19.04.2025. This expert lecture was conducted to make students refresh the above course syllabus by solving university papers, IRR calculations, etc. Dr. Sujata Chincholkar was the speaker who taught in the session with proper understanding and she made sure students solved questions from last 3 years project management university papers. 94 students attended the session. Feedback was collected & analyzed.
10. Expert lecture on ‘Project management’
The APRC conducted the activity on 19.04.2025. This expert lecture was conducted to make students refresh the above course syllabus by solving university papers, IRR calculations, etc. Dr. Sujata Chincholkar was the speaker who taught in the session with proper understanding and she made sure students solved questions from last 3 years project management university papers. 94 students attended the session. Feedback was collected & analyzed.
11. FDP on ‘NEP orientation & MMS syllabus post autonomy’
The APRC conducted the activity on 23.04.2025. A day workshop was conducted to develop an understanding regarding NEP guidelines for HEI, PG courses & Syllabus framework post autonomy grant. Dr. Nitin Joshi (Director, VNBIMS), an educationist, who has been a part of university board of studies got in an interaction with the team & answered multiple queries as a part of mental preparation for autonomy work. Later, he addressed all faculty members on the adaptability towards learner centric perspective & preparation required to work further in the autonomy journey of the Institute.Summary of pointers were listed in the report for further reference. 8 faculty members attended the session.

2. Seminar on Financial Literacy Awareness in Collaboration with BSE & NSE
The seminar was conducted with an intention to make students aware as a professional.The lectures on BSE would help individuals to pursue a career in Stock Market or a career in Finance in profiles like Financial Analysts, Investment Professionals, and stockbrokers, amongst others. Further, the offered programs as well as special sessions to aid students in gaining an all-round understanding of financial markets
3. Inter- College Debate Competition 2023-2024.
This activity was conducted to have collaborative experiential learning with other college students Mr Koustubh Gokhale Hon.Treasurer-TBIA, Asst.Prof. Sunil Sharma- Sales And Marketing Manager and Ms.Ankita Singh Rajput-Alumin-Asst.Manager-Jio Platforms Ltd. were the esteemed guests and judges for the inter-college debate competition.The event was collaborative with other colleges VPM Dr.V.N.Bedekar Institute of Management Studies Thane, and MGM Institute of Management Studies, Navi Mumbai. Overall, 36 students registered for this event and 18 students participated in the event.
4. Expert talk on Quality Management Systems:
This activity was conducted to create awareness for continuous improvement through the Quality Management System. Dr. Mangesh Brahme was the keynote speaker who overwhelmed the session with proper understanding and he gave real life examples on Quality Management System used in the organization.56 students attended the session & upscaled their understanding the approach of 5-S and representing the institute.
5. Seminar On 5’s Safety Mission Systems:
This activity was conducted to create awareness for continuous improvement among the employee engagement through the 5-S system of Japanese’s technology and innovations.Dr.Mangesh Bambre was the keynote speaker who overwhelmed the session with proper understanding and he gave real life examples on 5-S systems used by the employees in the organization as well as to have a disciplined approach to work life balance of an employee.

The event was conducted to welcome & orient the students of Batch 22-23. It was held in RGCMS Campus. It was conducted with an intention of welcoming the Students & introducing them with College culture, its Vision, Mission, and emphasis on Outcome Based Learning & various committees introduction.
3. How to optimally utilize your MMS phase
The seminar was conducted with an intention to make students learn self-regulation & optimal utilization of MMS period teaching & simulation. The guest speaker Mr. Prathamesh Kulkarni, a market researcher & big data analyst by profession created awareness amongst students on having realistic perspective on utility of MMS phase & how students should chalk out a planner for the same.
The seminar was conducted with an intention to make students learn self-regulation as a human & as a professional
The guest speaker Mr. Rhuturaj More, Solutions Architect – Costco Wholesale (BI and analytics division) by profession a created awareness amongst students on taking right decisions & learning from failures & how students should learn from critical introspection & observation.
4. Financial literacy awareness – Webinar

In order to make students work efficient & effective with technical skills, this value added program was introduced. This Value Added Program this is a collaborative activity for functionality of MOU with ExcelR.
